ESET Smart Security/ESET NOD32 Antivirus 3.0 gives users the ability to append notifications to outgoing or incoming email messages, indicating that the message has been scanned and is not infected. It is very simple to remove these notifications or set them to appear in infected email messages only. To remove the notifications or adjust their settings, follow the steps below:

Open the main program window by clicking the icon
in the Windows notification area, or by clicking Start → All Programs → ESET → ESET Smart Security or ESET NOD32 Antivirus. -
Press the F5 key to display the Advanced Setup window. In the tree structure toward the top, click Antivirus and antispyware → Email protection.

In the Alerts and notifications section, set your personal preferences for incoming and outgoing mail. In the example below, notification messages will be appended to infected mail only.

Click OK to confirm the settings. Note that any previous emails which have already been tagged will retain the tag. Also note that the standard template which is added to the subject of infected email messages cannot be modified.
